I am very enthusiastic to share this with all of you. I've been using the skincare products of dr. Zein Obagi for a couple of months now. The Obagi products really worked for me and I really believe it is very suitable for a continual usage.

Well… I absolutely wanted some skincare products that you don’t just put on your skin but I like to have a workable day cream! My experience with some luxurious day creams which often smells nice and make your face feel soft as baby cheeks doesn’t really do anything for the skin most of the times.

So here I was starting with these Obagi products. My cosmetic doctor, Ludy Holst, had already told me about what to expect and how my skin will react in around the first week. But hea.. That could not be that bad, right?? That's what I thought. But after using it for the first time I started to realize what she meant. It felt like my face was on fire and it started to peel. Even after putting my make-up on it came back off in less then 30 minutes. The solution for when the pain is totally unbearably is to use the Soothing Recovery Crème. This has a thick consistency that will calm the skin down. I had some moments where I had to push myself to catch up with the regimen but after seeing the progress of my skin and face I knew I had to push through. After a week or two my skin starting to feel brand new and it looked better than ever. Like dr. Zein Obagi said: No Pain, No Gain!

So with this all I was beyond excited when I got the invitation to meet the man behind the Obagi skincare products at the Hilton Hotel in Amsterdam. Just listening to him talking about these Obagi products and the theory behind the whole skincare was absolutely marvellous. I immediately understood a lot more about how the skin is working and what we have to do to take good care of it instead of waisting your money on products, which makes our skin lazy.
